Sears Black Friday sale will feature 599 doorbuster deals, and discounts of up to 57 percent, according to a copy of its November 26 circular that was leaked to shopping site blackfriday.info. Included in the bargains are some of Consumer Reports top-rated products including a Kenmore washer and dryer combo and a Samsung LCD TV.

“We didn’t leak anything, and while I cannot confirm the deals in that circular, I can say that the deals look awfully familiar,” Sears spokesman Tom Aiello told Consumer Reports. 
 
Jon Vincent, the founder of BlackFriday.info, said that the circular was e-mailed to him by one of his two million subscribers. “We did not obtain the circular ourselves or actively solicit it; it was an honest leak that could have come from someone at the company or someone at the printing plant,”  he said. “And in this case, it was a 48-page circular, which would be unlikely for someone to fabricate.”
 
Vincent said he’s not too worried about Sears’ reaction: “I think a lot of the companies actually like the publicity we give their sales, and Sears is one of the companies that has never bothered us in the past, although if they have a problem, we’ll hear from them on Monday.”

Not every discount is a gem: Even at $7.99, we believe the Snuggie is a bad deal.
