While the skies here are frosty and full of precipitation, I can dream of luscious sunset filled ones to come in the summer. To help me along is the work of artist Katrina Schmidt-Rinke whom I found through Erika’s blog. I am particularly enamored with her watercolors, but her over-sized 4 foot wide oils of simple landscapes topped by a dominant, cloud sprinkled skies also demand my attention!

Katrina also has some abstract work- this one in particular interests me. I love the colors!

It inspired me to go back to my just started canvas and keep working on my paintings!
