60’s-era lobby decor spied in 2011 lobby

Check out the amazing 60’s-era (?) lobby decor I spied recently. To stumble across this increasingly rarefied aesthetic in the wild was a major shocker, which is why I’m proposing that we organize and call for at least a recommendation, but preferably a rule, a regulation or an amendment to preserve and protect rare “looks” for the enjoyment of future generations. Who’s with me? But in all seriousness, I’d love to have a lobby like this, rich in character and steeped in kitschistory. Cheers.
