Earlier this month I received a great idea for a post from Allison Reimus, who painted the gorgeous pieces above and below this paragraph. Have you ever considered doing a post about artists whose work involves domestic issues/ interior design? There are a lot of us out here! There are a lot of painters whose work isn’t meant just to decorate a wall, but is about its ultimate fait – being used as decoration. Intrigued, I asked her to suggest a few of her favorites and here’s the result. If you like this post, I’ll totally take the credit for it, but it was actually Allison’s great idea, and she also did much of the legwork. (Thanks!) I’d love to hear what you guys think. Maybe I’ll make this a semi-regular thing.
